Where the Data Comes From

Four sources, read on 20 September 2026, kept apart rather than blended.

Places

Business details, categories, hours and Google ratings come from public listings. 494 places in Ohio, of which 363 have an owner claimed listing.

Clinicians

Names, specialty registrations, national provider identifiers and state license numbers come from the federal provider register, which is a public record. 268 people in Ohio hold a sleep medicine registration. Nothing is published about a person beyond what is already on that record.

Yelp and Facebook

Yelp ratings and review counts are read from public profiles. Facebook figures are read from public pages, where a page reports a recommend percentage, a review count, a follower count or some combination. Facebook coverage is partial and a listing that has not been checked says so rather than implying no page exists.

What Is Never Done

  • No review, rating, count or quote is ever written by NightWells
  • No rating from one platform is averaged into another
  • No number is published when two sources disagree about it. It is left out and queried
  • No placeholder phone number appears anywhere on the site

Use the update form. A clinician asking to be removed is removed.
