What this site collects, what it does not, and how to get something about you taken down. Last reviewed 20 September 2026.

The Short Version

NightWells is a directory. Nearly everything on it is public record about businesses and about clinicians, not about the people who read it. Reading it needs no account. Nothing here asks about your health, and nothing here should be used to send anybody your health.

What Happens When You Read a Page

Google Analytics runs on every page here, under the measurement ID G-06S9CYBKCC. It records which pages were opened, roughly where in the world the reader was, what kind of device and browser they used, and which site they arrived from. It sets a cookie so that a second visit counts as the same reader rather than a new one. It never receives a name, an email or an address, because this site never has one to give it.

Netlify hosts the site and keeps ordinary server logs. Those include the network address that asked for each page.

Typefaces load from Google Fonts. That means Google receives the request for the font file and can see the network address it came from.

What Happens When You Use the Form

There is one form on this site, for updating or removing a listing. It asks for your name, an email address, which listing you mean and how you are connected to it. A phone number is optional and a removal never needs one.

What you send goes to Netlify and is emailed to the person who runs the site. None of it is published. It is used to action your request and to write back and tell you it is done.

If You Want Your Listing Gone

Anybody named here can ask for their page to be taken down, and it is taken down. Nobody argues with you about it. Use the update form and pick removal.

The removal holds. Clinician records come from a federal register that gets read again from time to time, so deleting somebody out of the copy would only last until the next read. The identifier goes on a suppression list that sits outside that data instead, and the build drops those records before it renders anything.

What This Site Does Not Do

  • No advertising and no ad networks
  • Nothing collected is sold, rented or handed to a third party
  • No accounts, no passwords and no payments
  • No tracking pixels from social networks
  • No profile of you is built, and no attempt is made to work out who you are

Your Choices

You can block or clear cookies in your browser, and most browsers now have a setting that blocks tracking for you. Google also publishes a browser add-on that turns Google Analytics off everywhere you go.

If you would rather write to a person than fill in a form, the address is hello@nightwells.com. Say which page you mean.

This Is Not Medical Advice

NightWells is an information service. It does not give medical advice, it does not refer you to anybody, and a listing here is not a recommendation. Talk to a doctor about your own care.

Where the Listings Come From

Every source behind the listings is named on the sources page, along with the four things this site never does with them.

Changes

When this page changes, the date under the heading changes with it.
